The Yoga Lab: NEW Alignment Essentials with Gina Caputo in Kansas City, MO
Given the uniqueness of each of our bodies, there are no absolutes in yoga posture alignment. Poses don't have alignment, PEOPLE have alignment. However, in group classes, we explore postures together that have a defined aesthetic and expression.
As teachers, how do we tackle the challenge of honoring unique bodies, nervous systems and ranges of motion while still teaching a group class?
In this Yoga Lab with Gina Caputo, we’ll fully explore several blueprint poses with the Integrated VinyasaTM alignment principles of balancing polar key actions, observing tension and load on your tissues, and understanding the impact of our nervous system on our ability to experience change in our bodies and how to guide your students into finding what's right for THEIR unique body today.
Date: Saturday, 3/2
Time: 1:00pm - 5:00pm
Location: Sage Center for Yoga & Healing Arts in Kansas City, MO
Cost: $72 before 2/2, $89 after 2/2
